To clean and fix a clogged RV water filter, follow these steps:
- Disconnect the garden hose from the water filter and turn off the valve that controls the water supply to the filter.
- Put on rubber gloves and use a soft-bristled brush to scrub away any accumulated sediment or build-up on the filter.
- Mix a solution of 1/2 cup of baking soda and 1/2 cup of vinegar in a bucket of warm water.
- Soak the filter in the solution for 1 hour.
- Rinse the filter with clean water from the garden hose.
- Reconnect the garden hose to the filter and turn on the valve that controls the water supply to the filter.
Once the filter is clean and fixed, it’s important to keep it in top condition by regularly checking it for signs of sediment or build-up. If you notice any signs of clogging, repeat the above steps to clean and fix the filter.
